Since 2012, the Salmon Challis Trails Group (formally known as 2L Trails) has been working to preserve and improve access to public lands and the Salmon and Lemhi Rivers. We envision a safe system of trails that connects communities and assures access to public lands and rivers for everyone. Coordinated by Salmon Valley Stewardship, the SC Trails Group brings together trail advocates, non-profit groups, land managers, and concerned citizens to work collaboratively for community-led trail improvements.
On Friday, April 28th from 7-9 pm we'll have an open house at Highlander Beer Salmon for anyone interested in learning more about how to get involved in local trails, from the Highway 93 South bike path to the Continental Divide Trail, and the hundreds of miles of singletrack surrounding the valley. Come out to learn how to volunteer and hang out with fellow trail lovers!
